College football is an ever-changing world, with the top team this year finding itself much lower in the rankings next year. Then again, a lot of the usual suspects seem to reappear in the top ranks season to season. College football success is an elusive beast that only comes when a number of factors go right. You need to have a superb organization with top-notch scouts, a program that will entice the best athletes, a great coaching organization, and of course a little luck never hurts. Some teams have been dominating college football since they first started, but normally a team’s success ebbs and flows each year of couple of years. Just like professional sports, staying on top takes quite a bit to go right, so college football dynasties are truly something to behold when they come around.
